Hell Night - Dark Messiah is a survival horror game that immerses you in a tense, puzzle-filled journey. It uses a first-person view similar to first-person shooters, but without combat, instead focusing on evasion and problem solving. The setting is a vast network of tunnels and environments known as The Mesh, where the ultimate goal is to reach the surface. Throughout the campaign, you have to move through different areas, facing only one type of enemy: Hybrid, a ruthless mutating monster. Fighting is not an option; survival depends on escaping and using strategic thinking. Close contact with the Hybrid results in the death of the companion and, ultimately, the protagonist. Companions can temporarily stun the Hybrid, but each companion has a limited number of stuns. The player starts with Naomi as a companion, whose special ability is to warn players of the Hybrid's approach. As players progress, new characters are encountered, and they can replace lost companions, but each brings unique abilities to the team. Careful selection of companions is required, as the player can only have one at a time, and replacing a companion means losing that companion forever. Navigating the online environment requires strategic planning, as characters can only run for a limited time before they tire. Particular attention is paid to solving puzzles and interacting with the environment and other characters.
