Hoshigami: Ruining Blue Earth is a turn-based tactical RPG. The player gathers a small army of mercenaries and participates in tactical battles. The course of the campaign involves choosing locations on the world map, observing the interaction of story characters and participating in battles. You can equip items, teach party members skills and train the party while on the story map. Battles are fought on a square grid with a variety of terrain. Characters with a higher speed can move first, and after their turn, they can use RAP points to determine when they will act next. This system adds strategic depth to the turn-based combat. Hoshigami: Ruining Blue Earth includes an extensive magic system called Coinfeigm. This system revolves around the mythology of the universe, where the power of elements like fire, wind, and ice originally belonged to the spirits of nature. The powers of these spirits were sealed in an ore called Manatite, which comes in the form of disc-shaped shards called coins. Each coin has its own stats and energy (CP), which determines how powerful and how often spells can be cast in battle. Coins start with a maximum CP value at the beginning of each battle and replenish over time. Another unique feature is the shooting system. This allows characters to push allies or enemies two squares in any direction, adding another strategic element to positioning during battle.
