Jagged Alliance: Rage! opens the story of a dictator for whom a team of scientists works. The researchers themselves do not fully understand what exactly they are doing, but in the process the ruler has learned to brainwash the soldiers so much that they are able to shoot themselves in the head on command. The dictator sends all the inhabitants of the island to work on plantations where drugs are produced. A company of elite mercenaries who escaped from captivity is going to confront the invader and slave owner. The team heads to St. Anthony Island to save people, clear enemy territories, traveling to different places.Tactical battle mode involves the use of stealth elements. In fact, stealth is the basis of battles, because in a situation where there are only a couple of characters and 10 times more opponents, you can't do without stealth. Here you can send one fighter to crawl, killing enemies one by one who are nearby, and the second - to shoot with a crossbow. It is important to make sure that the enemy does not hear the sounds of shots, hits, and does not detect the body. An attack or other operation should be thought out and planned before its implementation. During the battle, the character spends action points, for example, to move a couple of cells, to make an accurate shot, steps, lure the enemy with a whistle, assign to guard.Fighters differ in weapons, skills and characters, for example, some excel in close combat, others fight in the dark, and some will not go into battle without alcohol. There are 6 mercenaries to choose from - the sniper Sova, Doctor Q, the strong tank Ivan Dolvich, who loves alcohol to quench his thirst, Vicky Waters, Shadow - a fan of stealth, and Grunt. These are soldiers of company A.I.M. The game has survival elements, so group members need rest and water. Soldiers need to treat wounds to avoid infection, treat infections, boil water, provide bandages, and repair weapons and armor. After killing the enemy, the hero takes his equipment and weapons.
