Kalaban

Kalaban is a top-down horror game with freedom of action. The action takes place in 1995. Bob is an American and a hermit who moved to Finland. He settled in a hut in a factory, and one day he is attacked by a mutant dog. When he went outside, he noticed many strange creatures that were behaving aggressively. Bob realized that the end of the world had come, and zombies had appeared. He will have to find out the cause of the virus outbreak and try to fix at least something. The gameplay is from a top-down perspective, allowing the player to see enemies through walls. Exploring areas is the main aspect of the game. You will need to kill monsters and get food to heal. Fights are not difficult, but sometimes it is better to go unnoticed and not engage in unnecessary combat. The user is free to do whatever they want. There is no main plot. As you progress, key and secondary tasks appear. The player's actions affect the further narrative. The gamer has 3 functions in the menu: Map, Inventory and Tasks. The mini-map shows the area where the main character has already been or hidden locations, but with certain rare items or strong monsters. Healing occurs by eating food. There are secret locations that hide useful items or Easter eggs. On the way, you will meet other survivors with whom you can fight or skip them. At the start, Bob has a blunt and cold weapon. Exploring the areas, he will acquire a revolver, a double-barreled shotgun, a machine gun, an axe and good equipment.
