Killer is Dead immerses you in a futuristic realm where the line between man and machine is erased, and tells about the exploits of Mondo Zappa, a witty killer working for the secret organization Execution Office. Armed with a deadly katana and cybernetic weaponry, Mondo travels the world, taking out a variety of targets and battling the mysterious Dark Matter, a corrupting force that spawns grotesque monsters from the depths of humanity.The story unfolds across a dozen meticulously crafted missions, ranging from fast-paced linear quests to challenging puzzle-solving levels. Supplementing the main missions are sub-missions, gigolo missions, and challenges, each of which provides additional benefits and new gameplay opportunities. Combat is all about maintaining a powerful combo, giving Mondo access to an arsenal of devastating special moves and finishers. With the ability to gracefully dodge enemy attacks and launch Adrenaline Rush, Mondo can unleash a barrage of blows on slow-moving foes.
