Knights and Merchants: The Shattered Kingdom is a real-time military and economic strategy game set in medieval Europe in the 13th century. At the same time, some of the resources are exhaustible, and their use requires proper planning. Each unit in the game needs food, and in the event of a long absence of it, it dies. The population of the region also depends on the amount of food produced by farms. The military aspect involves the use of formed units to destroy enemy troops and warehouses.
