The plot of Behind Enemy Lines 2: Desert Fox tells about the hottest spots of the planet at the height of World War II. The gameplay is a real-time strategy. You will be transported to Europe and North Africa, where you can lead German, Allied or Soviet military units. The campaign includes 19 consecutive levels for each side. The gameplay features authentic transport and weapons of that time. Each level you participate in fierce battles and send units to shoot at opponents. Use tanks, armored vehicles, snipers, scouts or stormtroopers. Direct Control system allows you to control each unit at any time. You control the army, and the outcome of the battle depends only on you. The German campaign is called Burning Lands, and the Allied plot is Fox Hunt. With the help of historical documents and blueprints, the developers of Men of War managed to recreate realistic models of transport and equipment. The surrounding landscape plays an important role in the mission. Soldiers can take cover in trenches, behind trees or hide in tall grass. You can fully customize the interface and make it for yourself. Fight in online battles with other users and control a unique faction - Japan. Multiplayer mode includes such modes as Important Cargo, Capture the Flag and Skirmish.
