Mercury Meltdown Remix is ​​a platform puzzler where you navigate through mercury blobs to complete messages by tilting the stage with the analog stick. Mercury can be split with sharp objects and its color can be changed using Paintshop or by merging blobs of different colors according to the RGB color model. To unlock labs, you need to accumulate enough mercury after completing stages. Dominating a lab unlocks a secret 17th stage in it. The court, a circular arena, features most of the stage props for experiments. Mercury Meltdown Remix introduces three new states of mercury: hot, cold, and solid. Hot mercury is easily split and moves quickly, cold mercury is slow and semi-solid, and solid mercury does not split and can move on rails. Gamers can race through previously unlocked single-player levels, with bonus stars replaced by combat items that help or hinder opponents.
