Midnight Club 2 is an arcade game of the car and motorcycle racing genre, the events of which take place in three cities of our planet. These are Los Angeles, Paris and Tokyo with complete freedom of movement. As in the previous part, the Arcade mode is available with participation in single or network races and Career with a storyline. In the main campaign, you will have to compete illegally, hoping to gain the status of a street racer, as well as get cars or motorcycles of losers.The gameplay of Midnight Club 2 includes not only competitions, because to participate you should first find your opponent in an open city for exploration. By flashing your headlights, the player challenges passing racers and then goes to the start of the race. Not only challenged opponents, but also other participants can join the competition. And in some situations, the hero will even go the distance alone.Race is presented in the form of key points, which you need to drive through before others and get to the finish line first. Sometimes the races will be limited in time, and the city police will be a serious obstacle. The police call for reinforcements and make fences, interfering with racers or call a helicopter with a searchlight, which will easily detect the offender. In missions, you sometimes need to escape pursuit and only then reach the finish line. Having won all the races in one series, the hero receives a new means of transportation for completing more difficult tasks.
