The events of Myst 5: End of Ages begin with the legendary civilization of Days dying. Doom and emptiness reign throughout the world, and the mine connecting the worlds is gradually collapsing. It is at this moment that the environment meets the Wanderer. The story revolves around two central characters: Yesha and Escher. They will need to revive the fallen civilization. To do this, you will need a mysterious artifact called the Tablet. This item can be used by only one entity - the Sower. The player will have to use portal books and connecting spheres to move between worlds. Each planet and continent includes unique tasks, puzzles and obstacles. The gamer will visit the underground, hub and prison world. In Noloben, you will have to explore Escher's laboratory, and the world of Todelmer has an observatory where the fallen race conducted research above the sky. There is also an original island of Mist, which is in a destroyed state. Using a camera, the user saves the gameplay. Tablets help to communicate with the mysterious creatures of Barro. In the Save Book, the gamer chooses where to start further playthrough. In all worlds as a whole, 12 Pages of Yesha's Diary are scattered. They contain hints, directions and reveal the history of the universe. The Notepad automatically records all dialogue between characters. This will help to reread what was said to understand the essence or solve the riddle.
