Neverwinter Nights - Curse of Levor is considered by fans to be one of the best amateur add-ons. Hundreds of fan-made creations were created for the original version of the game, but none of them received the same approval as this version of the fantasy world. Russian developers released only 3 episodes of the story, out of 6 planned, but even in this form the mod is interesting, since each chapter contains a complete storyline.According to the plot of NWN - Curse of Levor, the main character of the story is a young guy who lost parental care in early childhood. His parents were killed during a skirmish between caravan guards and bandits. Before the events of the game, the protagonist was raised by his grandfather, a famous traveler. He told the guy many stories about his stormy youth and adventures. One ordinary and unremarkable day, the boy went to the basement to get another portion of wine for the old man. When he returned, he found two murderers at home, who had just killed his elderly relative. The criminals managed to escape from the scene of the murder and from that moment the beginning of the game begins.It should be noted right away that the entire environment, tasks, non-player characters, things and objects have been changed and are radically different from the set of the original game. Available game character classes have remained the same. The choice of class will affect some quests and the capabilities of the protagonist. For example, a bard can communicate with animals, and a priest is tied to local missions related to the repose of the undead.
