OCTOPATH TRAVELER is an outlandish journey through the mysterious lands of the continent of Orsterra. These lands differ from each other in climate, natural features and the mentality of the locals. Some territories are relatively safe and it is quite comfortable to live like this, and in other places, surviving even one night is a completely difficult mission.In OCTOPATH TRAVELER, the user can choose from the following main characters:

• Ophilia. A sweet girl who is a member of a mysterious order.
• Cyrus. An experienced researcher, a member of the Royal Academy, who studies ancient evil spells.
• Tressa. An adventurous traveler, inspired by records from the past.
• Olberic. A valiant warrior expelled from service.
• Primrose. A young lady who bears a grudge and anger towards her father's killers.
• Alfin. A lucky boy who was tried to be killed as a child.
• Therion. A vicious robber who is ready to take possession of the royal family's jewels at any price.
• Hananit. Hunts supernatural creatures.

The protagonists are characterized by their own appearance, character, and living conditions. Each has a completely individual life situation and skills for fighting enemies. One solves circumstances with the help of charming beauty, and the other simply enters into close combat, destroying the enemy and not thinking about the consequences. Among them, wizards and knights stand out. While the former will solve their problems with magical abilities, the latter rely only on cold weapons.
