The protagonist of PIVO is an ordinary corgi whose owner was a wizard. One day, the old wizard disappears, but leaves behind his own staff. Having touched it, the protagonist gains intelligence, the ability to walk on two legs, as well as knowledge of some principles of magic. Now the goal of the brave dog is to find the owner and return his magical artifact to him.This will not be so easy to do, because even the landscape itself in Pixels and Voxels interferes with a calm path. Corgis are not acrobats, and therefore even small ledges are difficult for the hero. What can we say about the bottomless abysses gaping here and there - the world is islands hanging in the middle of the sky. However, magic exists to solve such problems. With the help of the staff, the dog can transfer selected parts of the environment into a two-dimensional environment and back into a three-dimensional one. Thus, for example, it will be possible to close those very holes between the islands. A fallen tree captured by a spell, lying not even close to the abyss, will become part of a two-dimensional landscape, as if moving to the right place. With the help of this mechanic, all puzzles in the game are solved. However, new elements of gameplay still appear as you progress. For example, blocks that can be destroyed by bombs. Or energy chains, only by connecting which you can open some doors. In addition, opponents will appear in the locations. The protagonist is not able to fight them, and therefore is forced to bypass. However, new spells or skills will not appear in the arsenal until the end of the game.
