Planet of Death is a classic arcade simulator with casual controls, released back in 1997 by a developing at that time and only gaining momentum company called Ubisoft. The emphasis is on the sports component, because the main character takes part in competitions with other first-class pilots from all over the planet. The sci-fi setting and another galaxy easily explain the fact that the cars have enormous speeds and a powerful body that is not subject to destruction so easily. Amazing development of the damage system, as for a project of the last century, allows you to visually determine the severity of the injuries inflicted on the vehicle. Each of the 16 cars that are available for piloting has a setting for many parameters related to the controllability of the car. Competitions are held on 32 tracks with their own stories and unique sections that make the track stand out from the others. Due to sharp turns and high-speed straights, there is a high probability of losing control or not coping with braking, the game does not forgive mistakes, it will be very difficult to catch up.There is support for a multiplayer mode, in which up to 8 participants fight at the same time. Each track in the post-apocalyptic world of the Planet of Death project is available for online battles. Battles with other users are more vivid than with artificial intelligence. The spirit of competition and the thirst to be the first adds drive and desire to return to the virtual universe created by famous programmers.
