Waking Knightmare is an epic battle in a land of horrors, where warriors have to give it their all to stay alive and become the best, there is simply no other way out. Human fantasy and fears can give birth to extraordinary and most vile creatures. The worst thing about this is when they become reality and can cause damage. Here you won’t be able to avoid a collision simply by waking up or covering yourself with a warm blanket. You have to take up arms and start honing your skills, gain experience, courage, break through the next crowds of creatures in order to survive and win.Awakening Nightmares offers to pass the tests alone, get additional support from friends through the cooperative mode and move towards a common result or arrange a brutal fight with a team, but already with the determination of the leader. Each participant is awarded points for eliminating targets. Their number varies depending on the monster that was killed, how cleanly it was done and what method the evil spirits were sent to the afterlife. There is a functional arsenal of shotguns and machine guns to choose from. Often, there is not enough ammunition, often you have to save, figure out the best position to hook several at once. When the ammunition is empty, a pistol can help out, it is not as lethal, but it is better than bare hands. The dynamics of events are quite high, standing still is almost equivalent to death. And the enemies are far from slow undead, but quickly and harmoniously reacting creatures. Here you will meet faceless soldiers, huge guardians of the underworld and even a bony old woman with a scythe. The graphic part is made in a modern style. The oppressive atmosphere, dark colors, piercing sounds make you nervous. There are also beautiful effects, flames from the barrels, splashes of blood, dismembered carcasses and other details look realistic. Everything is emphasized by small elements of the environment, such as flashes of lightning, fading light, trembling soil and the like. The control mechanics are easy to learn, the main character moves around the location and jumps over obstacles, more often the function is used to tactfully jump out of the environment or buy time to reload.
