Planet of the Eyes is an action-adventure game created by a small company of indie developers in the platformer genre. The events of the single-player campaign take place in a fantasy world filled with various curiosities unusual for the human race. The camera is located to the side relative to 2D sprites and detailed backgrounds, made using bright colors to create a memorable picture. The main character of a single-player campaign with a simple plot is a robot servicing a spaceship. The spaceship crashed on an unknown planet, now the virtual protégé has a long journey ahead of him to find a way to leave this place and return home. Moving forward through the confusing locations, the protagonist learns much more about what happened to the ship from the engineer's logbook, bits of information from which were scattered around the area. The gameplay combines many features of the platformer and puzzle genres. To move forward, the user will have to find the right path among many options and solve the assigned tasks related to blocked roads. It will not take a lot of time to complete all the content, but the developers have added a leaderboard, which entices you to repeatedly replay stages to improve your own results and fight for high places in the rating.
