Power to the People is a simulator of electrical grid design, in which the user will have to regulate issues in the territory of many cities and settlements. The gameplay consists of providing residents with the necessary electricity, using a variety of mechanisms, structures, and special types of connections. The difficulties are due to the fact that you will have to calculate the load on the network so that it can function properly. In addition to laying new networks, you will also have to maintain existing ones, thanks to which at any given time the player will have enough work to do. More than 30 technologies are available for study and provide new types of structures (additional substations, power plants, etc.).Power to the People has several modes: campaign, sandbox and tests. The first of them offers to participate in successive tasks, simultaneously learning the basics of the game and getting acquainted with the features of the gameplay. You can spend an unlimited period of time in the sandbox - additional circumstances and incidents will constantly arise there. The last of the modes will allow you to encounter developed problems and obstacles, to overcome which you will need to use the acquired skills and knowledge. Unexpected incidents include lightning strikes, solar flares, and so on. For example, a tree will fall on a power line, which will require you to restore it, while being distracted from other tasks. The point is to create a reliable and uninterrupted system.
