Prison Architect - Going Green - an add-on that gives the user the ability to create green areas and grow plants on the territory of their own prison. Initially, the main character is the manager of an institution in which various criminals are located. It is proposed to gradually increase the number of objects located there in order to improve living conditions, as well as complicate the planning of escapes. In addition, you will be able to monitor how the prisoners eat, where they spend their free time, and so on. Now farming is added to the activities, acting as a new source of income, as well as food production and an interior element.Prison Architect - Going Green allows you to hire full-time farmers to service three newly created areas - a field, a vegetable garden and an orchard. On each of them you will have to grow certain types of plants in order to then sell them or use them for your own purposes. For example, having created a food source, you can spend less money on purchasing someone else's goods and, thus, improve the economic component. It is proposed to sell the surplus, thereby receiving even more profit. However, the new occupation is also associated with difficulties. Prisoners are able to steal crops, as well as create alcoholic beverages from them. Thus, more guards will have to be sent to the farmland to avoid incidents. Another innovation is alternative energy, which also helps reduce unnecessary costs.
