Battles in Roma Invicta take gamers back to the days of ancient Rome, when they had to fight over land. Players will take control of the armies and legions of the Roman Empire to set out to conquer the villages of Gaul. The game is in the real-time tactical Strategy genre, drawn in pixel graphics. Users will hand out instructions to their fighters on the battlefield, allowing them to form form formations, change position, make long-range attacks with a spear, or prepare for a blind defense.

The main task in Rome Invicta is to complete quests where you can move armies on the global world map in turn-based mode, and then engage in battles in local areas. You will have to deal with the supply of troops and distribute units among the various warlords. As you progress through the game, you'll be able to pump up your units and hire a variety of units, ranging from legionnaires to artillery to German cavalry. More than a hundred soldiers can take part in a single battle, creating massive battles.

Managing an army, players will have to:

• Make tactical pauses to give directions to your troops on the battlefield.
• Put some units under the control of the AI, customizing behavior for units.
• Account for the changing weather and seasons, which creates the changes on the map.
• Loot settlements or be gracious to your defeated opponents.
