Secret Doctrine is a 3D first-person game in a sci-fi setting. The controls support virtual reality glasses, immersing you in the surreal atmosphere of the project. However, to move and interact with objects in the environment, the player can use the keyboard and mouse. Interactive objects are highlighted with a blue flicker, so it is difficult to pass by them. The main thing is to tune in to the game and get emotions from what is happening on the screen. It is impossible to understand right away what exactly is happening in Secret Doctrine. The story begins at a metro station, but the cramped and stuffy familiar surroundings are subtly replaced by spectacular locations and many puzzles designed for a detailed exploration of a parallel universe. An abstract hero without a biography and documents becomes a prisoner of bizarre scenery and wanders in this labyrinth for an eternity. The Secret Doctrine could have been a pleasant, relaxing stroll, but in reality the gameplay is squeezed out of a finger. The game lacks content, and the protagonist lacks an elementary goal that would motivate him to move forward. The hero himself is at a loss as to what happened to him, and who to look for answers from. The world he ended up in is terrifyingly empty and absurd. The developer emphasizes the lack of time limits, but keeps silent about the vague plot and the lack of those very action-packed adventures that a promising start promises.
