Shadow Puppeteer is designed for cooperative passage. One user controls the boy, and the second - his shadow. Multiplayer here is local only. The indie project can be completed alone. However, then you will have to control two creatures at the same time. Heroes are controlled using the keyboard or gamepads. Both allies must be within the same screen, otherwise the connection between them will be interrupted, and then the defeat will be counted. Shadow Puppeteer is a hybrid of a two-dimensional and three-dimensional platformer. The guy can run in any direction. But his partner can only move on a 2D plane. In this case, he uses shadows cast by volumetric objects as platforms. This comrade dies in the light. Therefore, the main character has to move furniture and control the lighting in every possible way. The story is dedicated to saving the inhabitants of the village. One day, a puppeteer comes to the village. Thanks to a magic organ, he steals all the shadows from the population, with the exception of the main character. The young man accidentally falls into the floor. This saves him at the last moment from the sad fate of other people and gives birth to a shadow double living his own life. The villain tries to steal the last shadow, but the magic item breaks and he fails. The characters go in pursuit of the organ grinder, freeing the shadows along the way and returning them to their owners.
