SiN Episodes: Emergence is a first-person project, designed as a story shooter, divided into several episodes. Decisions made by characters during the game are taken into account when replaying. This should be remembered if the player starts an already completed episode, and does not start the story from the beginning. So, in the case of John Blade, the commander of an elite fighting unit standing guard over the safety of the residents of the city of Freeport. In an attempt to stop the charismatic, smart antagonist Alexis Sinclair, John and his two partners get involved in an unequal battle with the SiNTEK empire, which produces mutants. The metropolis is a futuristic hybrid of Tokyo, New York, and San Francisco. Visually, it looks quite nice, but it is not the scenery that is truly impressive, but the interactivity of the game environment. Depending on your playstyle, you can either sow nightmarish chaos on the streets, destroying objects and sabotaging, or use stealth mechanics to quietly penetrate the heart of the enemy citadel and destroy Alexis' stronghold from the inside. With the latter, the protagonist will be helped by the mysterious hacker JC and the agile Jessica Cannon, who has spy skills that even a professional spy would envy. The ending depends on the tactics chosen by the player and several turning points in the plot. The consequences of the choice are not always obvious, so you need to calculate the possible risks. The enemy AI allows mods to adapt to the player's style in order to change the battle tactics. Heroes can make traps from scrap materials that weaken the vigilance of mutants.
