Clicking on it, a window appears with detailed data about the planet: type, atmosphere, presence of a colony, population, mood of the population, resource production. By investing in scientific research, new technologies appear, thanks to which resource extraction increases. There is also an indicator of the intelligence of the inhabitants. To capture other celestial bodies, it is necessary to give the order to build weapons: spaceships with guns, reconnaissance aircraft. Until scientists have the blueprints for creating an army, it will not be possible to obtain combat starships. Ships are created independently in the Designs section. In Space Empires IV Deluxe there are races. Planets can be inhabited by ordinary people, robots, humanoids. The race can be modified. Example: make people weak-willed creatures without intelligence, but with an increased ability to reproduce. It will not be possible to colonize all the celestial bodies in the galaxy. On some planets, most races cannot live. If the atmosphere is completely filled with hydrogen, the only way to settle people or other organic creatures there is to build expensive biodomes. The protagonist is surrounded by enemy empires that constantly declare war. You can establish relationships with them, enter into a partnership or trade alliance.
