Space Mercenary Shooter: Episode 1 is a controversial shooter with an emphasis on the nostalgic feelings of old schoolers. The game will certainly appeal to those who remember the dawn of the pioneers of the genre, who have now become classics. The gameplay is reminiscent of DOOM and the first Half Life, but if the latter has a strong plot, then Space Mercenary Shooter does not bother even with a symbolic introduction from a short backstory and a couple of facts from the character's biography. The player simply finds himself in a network of corridors of the enemy camp, lined with iron and finished with stone, and, having received verbal instructions from the management, goes to shoot everyone who gets in the way of the generator, which must be destroyed. The entire campaign consists of passing levels designed by hand. To survive in a tense fight with military units, turrets and battle droids, it is better to aim while running. In no case should you stagnate in one place, watching the cross directions from which fire can come. Dexterity and strict adherence to instructions transmitted by radio will eventually lead the saboteur to the goal. For successful completion, the game will reward the player who patiently endured the monotony, bugs and poor optimization with a short cutscene demonstrating how the protagonist leaves the base on an evacuation ship, completing his mission.
