Sylvio 2 is a sequel to a mystical story with unusual horror gameplay mechanics and an unsettling atmosphere. The main character, like in the first part, is called Juliet, but little is known about her biography, goals, and connection with the previous adventure. She's just a woman who, for some reason, came to a cursed island to look for trouble on her head.Unlike the original project, the heroine of Silvio 2 does not have a diary where she would write down her own observations, nor does she have direct communication with chatty ghosts who give vague clues. Instead of interesting innovations, the listed elements were removed from the sequel, significantly worsening the graphics and molding a stupid plot from nine unrelated crimes. The reward for messing with careless spirits and poltergeists will be a dubious ending with a sudden, but very absurd explanation of what is happening.Otherwise, the gameplay tries to imitate the atmosphere of the original, leading the player into the realm of dark textures and still pleasing with sound effects. Strange rustling sounds, mumbling audio recordings in reverse and the pleasant voice of the protagonist somewhat smooth out the general disappointment from the crookedly cobbled together continuation of the intriguing horror. Objects with which the heroine can interact are highlighted with white dots. Juliet uses recording devices as auxiliary equipment, deciphering otherworldly audio messages.
