Tales of the Elements

Tales of the Elements transfers the ideas of a hip-hop album into a game format, representing an action RPG in the Japanese style. The project offers cooperative gameplay for a company of up to 4 people on one device, immersing gamers in its world. Musical artists Mega Ran, K-Murdock and Last BeNeVoLeNcE appear inside. The design refers to the role-playing releases of the 1990s and at the same time includes special cultural elements.This title, Tales of the Elements, offers an unusual setting where hip-hop culture meets classic JRPG atmosphere and storytelling. Players navigate a 2D world in a fast-paced combat system designed for multiple players with gamepads. The gameplay includes optional hip-hop-inspired mechanics, and progress depends on solving simple puzzles without map hints or quest markers.Further exploration of the game world reveals secret boss battles and a special hidden item to unlock. Added elements include 8 fast-paced 3D special levels designed to uncover secrets. Character dialogues are enhanced with voice acting for the main characters and some minor figures, as well as hand-drawn portraits in dialogue and sprites for moving around the map.
