Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash-Up is a fun platforming fighting game for up to four players. The goal is simple: players aim to deplete their opponents' life bars, either by knocking them off the stage or by activating strategically placed traps. With a variety of characters, each with a unique set of moves, the game encourages dynamic battles filled with acrobatic maneuvers. Walls become not just boundaries but opportunities, as characters can cling to them and jump from them, adding an extra layer of strategy to the process. To help keep track of characters during frantic battles, an optional color-coded glow effect is available. As with Super Smash Bros., customization is a key aspect of Smash-Up. You can tailor battles to your tastes, choosing from a variety of options to enhance the experience. There is a strong focus on environmental interaction, with stages featuring traps, dynamic changes, and interactive elements. Life-restoring pizza and ninja skills are among the items that appear on stage from time to time, offering strategic advantages like fire breath and electric shields. In addition to the standard Battle Royal multiplayer mode, Smash-Up features a variety of other matches. Arcade provides a brief but unique story for each character, adding a narrative layer to the action.
