Tetris Worlds offers a process based on the classic Tetris formula. Players engage in regular Tetris matches with a twist, thanks to various modes that introduce unique mechanics and challenges. In the story mode, users go on a mission to evacuate the home world of the Minos before the inevitable supernova on the sun of their solar system, Hadar. Sending your Mino Tetrinaut to different worlds will involve playing Tetris variants specific to each location. Successful completion results in more Minos being rescued, who then work together to turn the world into a new home. Arcade is a fast-paced arena featuring two-minute sessions of Tetris in a variety of variations. Multiplayer matches can also be played in this type. Arcade mode variations include Classic Tetris, Square, Cascade, Sticky, Hotline, and Fusion, each presenting a unique set of challenges and objectives.Variants include Square Tetris, where gamers combine Tetriminos into squares to earn significant bonuses, and Sticky, which requires strategically clearing blocks of the same color. Hot-Line Tetris suggests focusing on certain lines in the Matrix, and Fusion Tetris adds an additional level by including atoms and Fusion blocks, which leads to cascading effects when clearing lines. The project masterfully combines the timeless appeal of the traditional process with inventive modes.
