The Button Witch

The Button Witch is an adventure puzzle game in which the player is offered the role of a young sorceress who is just learning the delights of witchcraft. The girl will always be helped by her faithful pet - a talking ghost squirrel with unique abilities. The storyline of the single-player campaign contains many humorous scenes that dilute the serious narrative of the main story. The gameplay of this project from a small indie studio consists of exploring locations for valuable items that will need to be used in the future to gain access to further adventures. There are many different riddles and puzzles on the levels that need to be solved as soon as possible. The graphic component of the game is made using two-dimensional textures, during dialogues the characters are displayed as slides on top of everything else. During the conversation, the gamer can influence certain lines and actions of the protagonist named Ellen, which leads to one of several endings that were prepared by the creators of this video game with point-n-click elements. To solve most of the puzzles and other problems that will be encountered on the way of the virtual protégé, the user is offered to use various magical abilities. Their list is constantly growing as you move forward along the plot twists.
