The Cameron Files: The Secret at Loch Ness is an adventure game with a deep detective plot and various plot twists that are difficult to predict in advance. All events shown in the single-player campaign with an abundance of puzzles of varying difficulty take place near the world-famous lake in Scotland called Loch Ness. Many believe that a terrible monster lives in its waters, capable of killing anyone who invades its domain. The main location is the Devil's Ridge estate, but there are also other locations - a secret laboratory hidden from prying eyes, a medieval castle, beaches near the reservoir, and so on.The main character of the story is a detective working for a private detective agency - Alan Cameron. While in Chicago, he receives an invitation to Scotland, because only his unusual skills and rich experience will help to understand what is happening. The letter that served as a reason to go to Devil's Ridge was sent by physicist Allister McFarley, but upon arrival, the virtual protégé did not find him nearby. Now his tasks include not only studying the ancestral land, but also searching for the missing person. The gameplay consists entirely of the study of three -dimensional locations and interaction with an interactive environment to get the ability to move forward along the storyline filled with secrets and mysticism.
