The Feast

The Feast is an arthouse mix of adventure and visual novel in a post-Soviet setting. The events unfold in a small apartment where a girl named Ksyusha lives with her parents. Relatives, a work colleague and a pregnant friend got together to celebrate the holiday, but in the end everything turns into some kind of madness. People stop noticing obvious things and this shocks the main character. Explosions are heard outside the window, but everyone thinks that these are fireworks, and the bloody corpse in the room is taken for granted. This is aggravated by the fact that the only exit from the room is locked with a key that the protagonist's mother swallowed and now she will have to endure all this madness or try to find a way out of the situation.It is worth noting that there are not many actions available. The gameplay is very similar to a visual novel, where you need to shape the plot with your decisions. Depending on the actions taken, you will be able to get one of five endings that will tell you about the further fate of the characters. There are three possible types of reactions, which can be classified as Approval, Suspicion or Condemnation. People around you react differently to the girl's remarks, so it is difficult to predict what the next scream or panic attack will lead to. You can and even should interact not only with people, but also with objects, so you should carefully examine the area so as not to miss an important clue or hint.
