The Hex is a funny detective with elements of psychological horror. The setting is gloomy, although filled with bright characters with colorful stories. The soundtrack is tense, but changes throughout the game to a more cheerful and, conversely, meditative. The graphics are pixelated, but at the same time detailed, 2D.Once, a call was made to a shabby old tavern. The bartender picks up the phone. Obviously, the speaker says something about the dead, about the upcoming murder in the bar. Exactly! One of the visitors is planning an assassination. But who, when, whom, and most importantly why is going to kill remains unknown. Of course, such a situation is not beneficial to the institution, so the problem must be urgently resolved and not allow damage to property and reputation. And the player will have to figure out this confusion. And this is done in an unusual way. The latter will go through the storylines of each of the suspected visitors (and there are 4 of them). The trick is that each hero represents a different genre, since each came from his own world. All of them are forgotten heroes of game universes, in which unique rules reign, by which you will have to play. The past of each of them will shed light on the motives and capabilities of each and will tell the detective the correct answer. Then it is a matter of ingenuity and a flexible brain. Solving the main riddle and being in the shoes of the contenders for the place of the killer is a real pleasure.
