The Puppet of Tersa: Episode One is a hand-drawn adventure made in the point-n-click genre. The setting of the project, developed by an indie company, is the times when there were no smartphones, computers, or even electricity, and children played with dolls and valued their teddy bears. Gloomy elements in the narrative are combined with childish naivety, because the main character of the story is a little girl named Cynthia, who uses creative thinking to overcome the difficulties that befell her fate. The game has a built-in list of achievements for 15 awards that are given for a thorough exploration of the fictional world created using two-dimensional graphics. The single-player campaign is divided into chapters, clearly separating parts of the story and creating a complete picture that is easy to understand. Tersa Doll: Episode One tells the story of Cynthia's adventures in a fictional world filled with secrets, traps, mysteries and strange characters. Moving through the presented locations, the protagonist meets future friends who help the girl fulfill her wish - to return home. The gameplay is tied to solving puzzles of varying degrees of difficulty, creating difficult challenges, testing the gamer's logic, memory and ability to think outside the box. Also, the player is offered to interact with all sorts of objects to obtain additional information about the universe in which the child found himself for a better understanding of the lore of the game.
