The Pyramid Prison is a puzzle game in which the gamer must rely on his own attentiveness and intelligence when solving the tasks. The place where the single-player campaign develops is a prison in the shape of a pyramid, located on a body of water. It was created for special prisoners who should not leave this location under any circumstances. The gamer controls the protagonist, who decided to try his luck and save his wife from captivity by sneaking inside and escaping with her. The main character can be controlled using a controller or a keyboard and mouse. The gameplay is as linear as possible. The user enters rooms filled with objects for interaction and puzzles that need to be solved to unlock the path forward, after which the road to a new area with additional difficulties will open. There are frequent cases of using a first-person shooter mechanic. At such moments, it is necessary to destroy turrets that can move around the location using rails and cause serious damage. Saving in the game occurs automatically after each puzzle, which allows, in case of an error, to start in the immediate vicinity of the place of death of the nameless virtual protégé.
