Thief 2: The Metal Age is a project in which the user will immerse himself in the atmosphere of a gloomy world that combines the features of steampunk and medieval fantasy, and sneak past many dangerous enemies unnoticed. The player will take on the role of Garrett, the hero of the previous part, a professional thief who can get anywhere. He is in the service of the Order of the Guardians, possessing its special abilities that grant him stealth and the ability to outwit anyone. After the events of the 1st episode, the political situation in the city has changed. Of the 3 city factions, a recently emerged sect called the Mechanists has seized power. They have developed and implemented many mechanical devices, from security systems to steam robots. The popularity of the movement has led to them ruling the people undividedly, and other groups have been tacitly banned. One of the small side quests of the protagonist suddenly leads him to the trail of a sinister conspiracy conceived and implemented by the Mechanists.Thief 2: The Metal Age has the following features:
