Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 takes place two years after the events of Shutok Battle 0, when news of the defeat of the 13 devils spread throughout Japan. Chaos reigns in Tokyo, which prompts two more cities, Osaka and Nagoya, to join the racing competition. Racers aim to conquer these three cities by defeating all rival teams, potentially getting a chance to challenge the best racers in each city.The campaign unfolds in two parts: initially, you need to defeat bosses in a limited area inside each city. After reaching all cities become available, which allows you to freely choose where to participate in the races. Full maps are opened, providing independence in navigation in the second half of the passage. The gameplay revolves around nighttime highway racing in Japan, where users engage in impromptu battles with opponents. Each vehicle has an overhead meter (labeled SP), similar to a health bar. The follower's HP is lost gradually, increasing as the distance between cars increases or due to collisions with obstacles. Gamers can indicate the intended route using indicators, prompting opponents to follow their example. If the paths diverge, the match ends in a draw.
