Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is part of an adventure game series about the life of adventurer Nathan Drake and his bosom friend Victor Sullivan, nicknamed Sully. In the hunt for the treasures of El Dorado, Nate and his mentor are joined by a young journalist Elena Fisher; together the company confronts greedy Indonesian pirates, mercenaries and the main antagonist named Gabriel Roman. Guided by the coordinates and diary entries of Sir Francis Drake, his gambling descendant explores the Amazon jungle and the ruins of an underground temple, periodically falling into pirate ambushes.The gameplay of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune alternates elements of action, stealth and interesting puzzles. Nate uses several types of firearms and a limited supply of grenades in combat. Ammo for a pistol, machine gun and rifle also needs to be replenished - fortunately, there will be no shortage of them. In shootouts, the heroes can hide in shelters, firing blindly, or use a sight when the situation allows. Moving around the locations, Nate demonstrates excellent physical fitness: he jumps, swims, pulls himself up on ledges, swings on ropes and vines, and at the same time makes jokes, maintaining a dialogue with his friends accompanying him.There is no health bar in the game. The character's condition is indicated by the colors of the screen: with each wound received, the colors fade, and on the threshold of death they become monochrome. It is enough to find a reliable shelter and wait a few seconds for the restless treasure hunter to feel better.The plot keeps you in suspense, although it does not have much depth and drama. Uncharted is a dashing adventure about people who start their journey in the race for profit, and end up solving problems created by criminals. The abundance of cinematic scenes and animated screensavers make the gameplay spectacular and exciting.
