The story of Vampire: The Masquerade - Shadows of New York follows Julia, an unmotivated journalist who turned into a vampire, who finally gets a chance to move up. The girl must investigate the death of a high-ranking vampire, plunging deeper into the political turmoil in which every vampire clan is involved. As the investigation progresses, the main character becomes less and less inclined to play the role that was assigned to her by the powers that be.Made in the style of a visual novel, Vampire: The Masquerade - Shadows of New York offers the player to make choices that will determine the further development of the storyline. And if at first these choices practically do not affect anything and are extremely simple, then later their complexity and consequences increase. The game has only 2 endings, and there are not many important decisions here: several options only changed a couple of lines of dialogue. Towards the end of the game, some choices give Julia traits that will later play a fundamental role in what kind of ending you get.In between plot twists, the newly minted vampire can do things that will not affect the outcome in any way, so they can be safely ignored.
