Tom wanders across vast locations filled with monsters. Defeated monsters drop chests with coins. On the way come across cities and fires. In settlements, gold is spent on improvements and useful potions. The townspeople issue quests, asking them to obtain various materials, such as animal skins and herbs. Bonfires encountered on the way are checkpoints that save progress and allow you to instantly move to them.
