Wargame: European Escalation Is a real-time strategy game set during the Cold War. The player is given a choice of eight states from two different blocs - NATO (France, Great Britain, Germany and the USA) and the Warsaw Pact countries (USSR, Poland, Czech Republic and East Germany) - in order to establish dominance over Europe.
A single player campaign with several storylines is more suitable for teaching the player the basic principles of the game and the tricks of army management. The main direction of the gameplay, more elaborate and exciting, is the mode of network battles.
Combat units are represented by completely different units of soldiers and equipment, which is largely determined by their nationality (for example, the Polish "thirty-four" or the Czech infantry "motostrelci"). However, for the game itself, the gamer will have to choose a certain number of units, the so-called deck of 25 different titles. From the very start, only a few of the simplest military units will be available: the discovery of unique equipment and soldiers will be possible for victories in network games, for gaining certain points, and even as the campaign progresses.
During team fights, it is strongly recommended to immediately assign the roles of attacker and defender. A harmoniously composed deck, taking into account the forces of an ally, in most cases ensures victory.
