Encased: A Sci-Fi Post-Apocalyptic RPG invites you to be transported to the world of the post-apocalypse in a sci-fi setting. The developers were inspired to create a survival game with RPG elements by the classic RPG Fallout 2, as well as the Strugatskys' novel Roadside Picnic. The events here take place in a desert isolated from the rest of the world. The wasteland is located under a huge dome, where there are ruins of an ancient civilization with advanced technology, entire underground complexes, full of anomalies and traps, but there are a lot of valuable artifacts. The gamer's goal is to explore the fenced location, establishing contacts with local factions. In the process, his wards find weapons, without which it is impossible to survive here, and also study different types of skills.According to the plot, in one of the deserts, scientists discover a strange territory, where there are remains of a certain civilization, presumably alien. Here earthlings decide to build a base under the dome of which scientists will continue to explore underground passages and complexes, finding new technological samples. One day, the finds are stolen by the workers themselves, which causes a stir among all state and non-state structures that took part in the project.The player finds himself in the center of this hype, and his ward needs to write reports from the start, study documents, diaries and complaints, as well as flip through the resumes of future employees and return truants. Also in the process you will have to fight with opponents, where you can learn the basics of combat in a special gaming room with holograms. Soon the protagonist will have to take part in more serious fights using close combat and appropriate weapons, for example, a baseball bat. After completing the main tasks, the user will ride through the locations on an all-terrain vehicle, heading to the Nashville station.
