Ironcast

Ironcast depicts Great Britain fighting France on walking robots equipped with powerful weapons. The game is made in a steampunk setting and arranged with appropriate decorations: against the backdrop of urban landscapes of the late nineteenth century, bulky combat vehicles fight. The capital of England is besieged by the enemy, chaos reigns on the streets of London and buildings are burning. A patriotic protagonist named Iris Powell must repel attacks by the French until the commander-in-chief arrives for a difficult boss fight.Ironcast gameplay resembles a casual game where you need to combine identical chips to clear the field and get a reward. In fact, the project is a tactically sophisticated roguelike, where collecting multi-colored combinations is just the tip of the iceberg. Tasks are divided into several categories: battles, resource extraction, exploration and barter deals, where honor is exchanged for in-game currency. Each move denotes some action: attack, defense, repair or run. Green chips accumulate energy, which is then spent on replacing damaged modules; orange diamonds with a lightning bolt inside allow you to run or defend yourself; purple pentagons can only attack, and blue polyhedrons are used for attack, running and defense.The player also has bonus tokens: white ones activate ironcast accelerators, thanks to which the machine makes a dash, taking three turns from the enemy, and collecting gold bars will add a little money to the budget for pumping. Optimization is carried out according to three parameters. By raising the level, the player adds a new skill to the existing skills. Finance is needed to upgrade the engine and other components. Honor will come in handy in fights with bosses.
