Splatterhouse is gnawed living corpses, hundreds of liters of blood everywhere, scattered severed limbs and entrails, pitch-black meat. The game is filled with testosterone, which oozes through the screen. The game character is filled with inhuman strength and is able to use his own hands as real weapons. The story follows an ordinary guy named Rick, whose girlfriend was kidnapped by a mad scientist.Just yesterday an ordinary student, and today a guy mired in blood and tragedy finds the mask of Terror. Having an ordinary physique, putting it on, the hero turns into a pumped-up powerful creature, capable of dealing with opponents like ants. Putting on the mask, Rick condemns himself to a curse, which he uses for good. The player will have to figure out the magical properties of the artifact, killing enemies along the way.Splatterhouse does not focus on the story itself. For more than one hour, the user will have to fight unknown monsters that look like devils. The recordings of the scientist, made on a dictaphone and voiced by dozens of players on different levels, perfectly immerse you in the atmosphere. The trash style can be confusing at the very beginning of the gameplay, the protagonist twists off heads, tears off limbs, divides the semblance of a monster's body into several parts, rips out intestines and the player will have to do this for hours on end. All this happens accompanied by an electric guitar and creepy sounds.
