Total War: WARHAMMER 2 is a strategy game set in a fantasy world based on the Warhammer Fantasy series. The gameplay is divided into 2 parts: a turn-based global strategy that takes place on a world map, where the player sets the direction in which his army will advance, and a real-time strategy, where the player must control a giant army and give orders regarding the construction and further actions of each of the units. It is a continuation and the second game in the Total War: Warhammer series in a fantasy setting, and the game takes place on such continents as: Lustria, Nagarroth, Ulthuan, and the Southlands. The game has story campaigns for each of the races, which feature racial units, abilities, unique locations, and storylines that give the player the opportunity to both enslave the world and fight off the invaders and thereby save it.Races available in the game Total War: Warhammer 2:

• High elves are a race with special knowledge of magic, which lives on the island of Ulthuan. Playing for this race, the player will have to go through the campaign of such characters as Avelorn, Yvresse and Eyatan.
• Lizardmen are one of the most ancient races of huge intelligent lizards, who, according to legend, were created first among all other races as servants of the creator. A special feature of the lizardmen army is the presence in it of a large number of dinosaur-like giant - and not only - creatures.
• Skaven - in the past, these are people who mutated into giant intelligent rats under the influence of warp stones - a special magical mineral. They live mostly in the sewers under the cities of people.
• Dark elves - sworn enemies of the high elves, who do not hesitate to use dark magic, often engage in slavery, and also regularly make forays into Ulthuan, where the high elves live.
