Wolfenstein: the new order - first-person shooter that tells an alternative story in which the Third Reich defeated the enemy and enslaved the whole world. Nazi Germany made an incredible technological leap, so the setting can be regarded as retrofuturism with dystopian elements.

The plot directly continues the story of the game in 2009. It's 1946. William “BJ” Blaskowitz sustains a serious head injury while storming Dr. Skull's fortress. He falls into a vegetable state for 14 years. Upon awakening, he discovers how the world has changed under the rule of the Nazis. The gameplay is an example of the classic hardcore FPS that will guide the player through mountainous areas, Nazi outposts, the depths of the sea, send them into space and put them in a combat robot!

Unlike many games in the genre, Wolfenstein: The New Order is heavily dependent on story and characters. At a certain point, the hero will have to make difficult decisions that change the further development of the story and what characters will appear in the passage. All characters in the game have unique abilities, individual history and charisma.

The game contains many references and allusions to the real world, but turns it inside out, showing how certain events would look if the Third Reich came to power after World War II. What are only the Nazi Beatles! BJ will have to learn about all the creepy experiments in the secret laboratories of the Skull, to face super-soldiers or Panzerhund - robotic dogs. The soundtrack of the game was written by the cult Australian composer Mick Gordon with the participation of Frederick Thordendahl of the Swedish mat-metal band Meshuggah.
